The Confederate Islands or “CI” for short is an alliance
of multiple island-countries in the world of Stormtalon. Unlike the Xenjese Commonwealth or the Zorali
Magocracy, the CI can not be considered an empire despite being more powerful
than the former two. The strength of the CI can be found in its inclusiveness
and willing acceptance of new members regardless of their differences.
That said though, the CI is still plagued with infighting
as members are all too often suspicious of one another and often hatch plots to
get ahead of all the others. With the growing power of Xenji and Zoral, many
members of the CI are reconsidering their membership with some going as far to
take sides with one of the two empires should they gain any advantage against
their rivals. However, should the CI truly splinter, it is believed that a
cataclysmic war could erupt between rival powers that may very well result in
the destruction of the Known World.
